According to theCircular 85-19 issued on June 27, 2019 by the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), of which Application No. 1182, requesting the approval of the use of the glucose oxidase from the transgenic strain of Trichoderma reesei as a processing aid in the manufacture of cereal products (baking) and egg processing.

We have learned that this kind of processing aid is produced by AB Enzymes GmbH. It is expected that this application will be fully approved in October 2020. If there are no other review requirements, it is expected to be published in the Australian and New Zealand Gazette in mid-November 2020.
